Technical Editor:

Here are all the parts listed in the IPC for Stabilator attachment, with my annotations as warranted:

1963 STABILATOR MOUNTING HARDWARE

169-620000-149: Complete 1963 Stabilator assembly in IPC; superseded from 169-620000-79 and 169-620000-655; M0001-M0554 (one required)

4NCC910P: 1963 Stabilator size -4 (1/4″) ID bearing; M0001-M0554; MilSpec MS24462-4 (two required)

NAS1304-17: 1963 Stabilator mounting bolt; alternate is NAS6204-17; size -4 (1/4″) gold Cad plated, 17/16 grip (two required). The NAS62 series has slightly longer threads, and superseded the NAS13 series for new design in 1981.

169-620000-89: 1963 M0001-M0554; original flanged bushings in Stab brackets; supersedes to P/N 169-620000-93 (four required)

169-620000-93: 1963 M0001-M0554; flanged bushing in Stab brackets (two per side, four total required)

169-620000-99: 1963 M0001-M0554; flanged bushing in Stab brackets (with oversize 25/64 reamer)

169-620000-101: 1963 M0001-M0554; flanged bushing in Stab brackets (with oversize 13/32 reamer)

169-620000-127: 1963 M0001-M0554; flanged bushing in Stab brackets (no reamer specified)

NOTE 1: Mounting bolts are special 160KPSI to 180KPSI steel, closer-tolerance, short-thread, shear-type bolts. Standard 125KPSI AN4 bolts are not acceptable alternatives.

NOTE 2: Alternate close-tolerance mounting bolts are NAS6604-17; these have a longer thread.

NOTE 3: Standard-hardware bearing source is Applied Industrial Hardware

NOTE 4: Cadmium plating (Cad-plate) may be Type I or W (white/silver), or Type II (gold); either is acceptable for use.

1964 AND LATER STABILATOR MOUNTING HARDWARE, ALL MODEL 19/23/24 VARIANTS

169-620001-601: 1964 and later Stabilator assembly in IPC, replacement part; superseded by 169-620001-603 (one required).

169-620001-603: 1964 and later Stabilator assembly in IPC, replacement part; superseded from 169-620001–601.

5NCC1011P: 1964 and up Stabilator -5 (5/16″) ID bearing (two total); M0555 and up.

NAS1305-17W: 1964-up Stabilator mounting bolt; alternate is NAS6205-17W; -5 silver Cad, 17/16 grip. The NAS62 series has slightly longer threads, and superseded the NAS13 series for new design in 1981.

105740X-ZV0190: 1964-up straight press-fit bushing in Stab brackets (two per side, four total).

NOTE 1: Mounting bolts are special 160KPSI to 180KPSI steel, closer-tolerance, short-thread, shear-type bolts. Standard 125KPSI AN4 bolts are not acceptable alternatives.

NOTE 2: Alternate close-tolerance, high-strength, shear-type mounting bolts are NAS6605-17; these have a longer thread.

NOTE 3: Standard-hardware bearing source is Applied Industrial Hardware.

NOTE 4: Cadmium plating (Cad-plate) may be Type I or W (white/silver), or Type II (gold); either is acceptable for use.

NOTE 5: Bushing P/N 105740X-ZV0190 is a standard, straight-sided, press-fit, steel bushing made from 4130 Chromoly stock. It has an ID of .313″ (5/16″) and an OD of .438″ (a light press fit in a 7/16″ hole, .001″ interference fit). Its length is 0.190″ (3/16″ plus .005″). A standard NAS75-5-006 bushing is the standard hardware equivalent of the 105740 bushing.
