Got a UBG-16 engine monitor for Akromouse at Sun-N-Fun this year. It has oil press, oil temp and an OAT to compliment the steam gauges. It displays EGT’s and CHT’s simultaneously and has really turned out to be a great product.
The toughest part of the install was getting the CHT bayonet hole plugs out after 650 hours of flying on them. The oil temp and oil press sensors were piggy-backed on the old ones since the UBG-16 is not certified as a stand alone sensor yet but certification is expected soon. It’s a top notch unit and while it was a little expensive it’s paying its own way now with accurate leaning displays. Highly recommended.
