Ok, folks – there is good news and not so good news for the Beech Bash at Atlantic City (KAIY) on September 18.First the good news: It was not easy but your intrepid organizers have finally convinced Donald Trump that they should hold the Miss America Contest in Atlantic City when we are there. You think that was easy? If you are looking for something unique to do, or just looking [(-:] this is the place to be! Let’s see the grits eaters beat that one!
Then the bad news: Bad news for the Northeast Beech Bash? Never happen! There is no bad news!
Finally, the ugly: It is much to early to say for sure but it appears that Ivan may have decided to wander up this way on OUR weekend and cause mischief. We will keep a close eye (no pun intended) on the progress of Ivan and make a decision as to whether we are go or no go as soon as practical. We all want to have fun but personal safety considerations take priority. Stay tuned for more info as we get closer to 9/18.
