I know it is quite a ways off but, The Pioneer Village Airport In Minden, NE is holding an Antique Airplane Association Fly-in the weekend of August 26, 27 & 28. Not that our planes are Antiques but it would be a great place to get together for a day or two or three, talk Musketeers and visit with other pilots. Below is a brief description furnished by one of the organizers of the event. We have a great variety of aircraft come to Minden, from Tri-pacers and Stearman’s to Beechcraft and experimental. The entire west half of the airport is set aside for parking, allowing for a large number of aircraft to park with plenty of room between each airplane for admirers. The airplanes from your club will be more than welcome. We tend to take up the entire airport with lots of room for everyone. Generally, Friday night there is a special meal to let everyone get to know each other and rekindle friendships. Saturday morning there is usually a pancake feed. ?

More information will follow as it becomes available. I know they offer group rates that weekend but I am sure that the motel rooms are taken quickly. The sooner I can get a count of the number who are planning on attending the better off we will be. I am planning on going up Friday Morning and staying until around Noon or 1:00 on Sunday. Contact me offline at dbuttram@aol.com if you plan on attending
Should be a FUN weekend.
