Hello to all the South West Musketeers.I want to say thanks to all the folks who voted for me as the Regional Director (I think I was the only one but who knows).
Anyway, I hope all of you had a great Christmas and New Year. I think 2005 is going to be a lot of fun and I am looking foreword to some great fly-in’s.
As a suggestion for future fly-in’s, I would like each of you to think about hosting a fly-in to your local airport this year. Nothing special, just some place we can all come to and meet at, swap stories like the ones that start out “So there I was…..”. You can post your event on the BAC calendar.
We had our first board meeting on January 11th. Here are some of the highlights
* – Cloyd asked for a vote to confirm Tim as the Website Director and Rick as the Art Director. Both were confirmed
* – Cloyd reviewed the duties of the Regional Directors and each director advised the board of potential 2005 fly-ins.
* – Tim indicated the Company Store would soon offer hats and patches.
I am planning on a Sunday Brunch Fly-In at Furnace Creek on the 24th of April. Check the web site for more details. The desert is going to be in full bloom this year due to the resent rains and snow pack. This should be a beautiful time to see the desert. Hope to see everyone there.
