McConnell AFB (Class D) is adjacent to KBEC Beech Factory field and Col James Jabara Airport and Mid Continent International KICT is an adjacent Class C airport with commercial traffic. There are heavy aircraft (KC-135R) operating in the McConnell area. Depending on the time of day and other factors, there could be conflicts with KBEC arrivals and departures.
