Got photos from BAC Fest? Share them with others! Here are a few things to keep in mind as adding photos isn’t always the most intuitive process. First, you should probably create your own album within the BAC Fest 2007 folder (which is in the BAC Fest folder). Confused already? No problem, just use this link to create an album for yourself. Once you’ve created an album you will be able to upload your photos.A few notes about the photos. Regardless of what the upload page might erroneously report (I’ll fix that one of these days) the maximum photo size you can upload is 145 Kilobytes. This is so that we go easy on our members that are still on dial-up. (Quite a few of you.) Most digital cameras these days take pictures that are much, much, bigger than that…. Often more than 3,000 Kilobytes. Most computer imaging programs will allow you to export photos at a smaller size. Typically if you export it at a width of about 640 pixels or a height of a about 400 pixels you will get a file size that is under the requisite 145 Kb.
If you need to delete a folder/album for some reason, make sure you pay attention to what you are doing or ask for help. We’ve had entire folders of pictures belonging to other members deleted before, and we don’t want to do that again. 🙂
