I am puzzled by your note.  Where are you seeing more than one kind of a GE 330 bulb?  The only different versions I am aware of are colored, with a suffix (like 330R for red), but a plain 330 is a clear 12V instrument lamp used in most post lights and other applications.  Below is a paste from www.topbulb.com.
