After the first weekend of BAC President’s Trophy competition Jay Bruce has a slim lead over Dave Buttram. Slim may be stretching it. Jay has 375.0 nm to Dave’s 374.4 nm.Jay is thankful that we revised the rules to only count miles TO the fly-in since he took the train home and we don’t award points for miles ridden on a train. We haven’t heard yet if Dave will ask for a recount since Jay, as Regional Director, is the guy that certified the results. Funny how that all works out.
Results aren’t in yet from the Southeast Region but initial reports are that nobody FLEW into FoF. There is a rumor that someone drove. Could that have been the spy from the NW Region, Bill Howard?
