Webmaster Tim Flight Steps Down

Webmaster and board member Tim Flight has decided to resign his position effective May 18, 2009. Tim indicated that after the website server transition was complete he would be stepping down and though the transition took a tad longer than we thought, it is done and Tim has officially resigned. It is no exaggeration to say that without Tim’s tremendous effort, BAC would not be all that it is today. The website is our lifeline to one another, it is our resource, it is our tutor and it is what we reach to when things about flying our great planes creates an urge to share or learn. Tim’s patience, dedication and creativity made the site enjoyable and useful in ways many of us will never fully appreciate.

We thank Tim for all of his hard work and contribution. His guiding hand has been there since the very inception of BAC and it will be missed.

The interim Webmaster will be Mark Gooderum. Mark worked with Tim during the transition and will be the “go to guy” if you have questions or problems as we move forward. The Board of Directors will be naming a permanent replacement for Tim very soon.

Thank you for adding to the resources available for your Fellow BAC Members.
