I have been asked by Chad Moser to advise all of our club members to give careful consideration to performing the modification spelled out in SB 27-3954. Inspection of the flap hinge attachment brackets cannot be accomplished without the addition of inspection holes. All of our models are affected, and several have been found to be in very poor condition recently at KLUX (see attached photo below). Chad has purchased all of the components available from RAPID and will be able to repair affected flaps for some time, after which he will have to attempt procurement of the required parts from an aftermarket source.
